Yes, it is free. An experienced certified auto mechanic will drive your car. You can ride along to explain the symptoms and answer any questions about your vehicle's issues.
COMPUTER TESTING:
When you have a "check engine light" on, or you are experiencing shifting problems, we connect into our on-vehicle computer diagnostic equipment to test for stored trouble codes. Some repairs are made by replacing sensors on the vehicle and some can be done with the transmission in the vehicle.
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUSH:
Our techician will test drive your car to verify that it is shifting correctly. He then will connect to the hydrolic system and transfuse and flush 100% of the fluid with new fluid.
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SERVICE:
It is good maintenance to have your vehicle's transmission serviced every 25,000 miles. At Transmission Supply & Service, certified technicians first road test your vehicle, clean the pan, examine the fluid and filter, adjust bands, linkage, replace the gasket and filter (if its not a screen), check for any leaks and flush 100% of the fluid.
FOUR WHEEL DRIVE SERVICE:
Recommended every 50,000 miles. Includes an automatic transmission service, changing the transfer case fluid, changing both front and rear differential fluids, checking all u-joints, checking the 4wd system, lube chassis and test driving it before and after.
SYNTHETIC FLUID UPGRADE:
Synthetic fluids are proven to make vehicles last longer and get better fuel mileage. Synthetics are slipren and perform superior in very cold and hot weather.
REMANUFACTURED TRANSMISSIONS:
We work with various suppliers on today’s more complicated vehicles. We can install transmissions with up to 3 year, 50,000 mile or 100,000 mile warranties, with a price that is considerably less expensive than a dealership repair.
DIFFERENTIALS:
We do more rear axle repairs than any other shops in the Chippewa Valley. It's a job done right that you can trust to drive anywhere in the country. Front and rear axle repairs. Ring and pinion, differentials, spider gears, 3rd members, pumpkins (whatever you call it!). We rebuild or regear them depending on your needs.
TRANSFER CASES
The second transmission. It divides power between the front and rear axles on a 4-wheel drive. We change fluid and make repairs inside when things are not working right. New transfer cases are electronically controlled by a computer on the vehicle. Some transfer cases now require special fluids also.
CLUTCH, MECHANICAL & HYDRALIC REPAIRS
We don't see many vehicles with manual clutches anymore. Automatic transmission efficiency is doing away with them. However, we can diagnose your clutch problem and we are equipped to do the necessary remaking and part replacement required.
